I started the Bubble Patch in 2003 following the sale of another business (which was a world away from crafts) and Keith Lord of Lords Sewing Centre suggested I sell fabrics in the mill.
The Bubble Patch was started with just a wall of fabric within Oswaldtwistle Mills. We then progressed to an open unit and in 2005 moved to our present position which is just inside the entrance to the mill.
In July last year my good friend Henny Harrison joined me as full partner in the Bubble patch and as a lot of you already know, Henny and I both live in the Oldham area which is quite some considerable distance from Oswaldtwistle.

On the 28th March 2008 the Bubble Patch will close it's doors at Oswaldtwistle and relocate to Shaw in Oldham where we will reopen on the 7th April.
